Travel Mug Workshop for Teens!

3:00-5:00

In this fun after-school handbuilding workshop for teens, students will create their own unique ceramic travel mug from clay. Using beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques like slab building and shaping, participants will learn how to construct a mug designed to fit comfortably in their hands while also being functional for drinks on the go. Students can personalize their mugs with carved designs, textures, patterns, or simple graphics to make their piece completely their own.

This relaxed and creative workshop is designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and confidence with clay in a supportive environment. All glazing and kiln firings will be completed by the instructor after the workshop, and finished mugs will be ready for pickup at a later date. No prior experience is needed — just come ready to get a little messy, have fun with clay, and create a one-of-a-kind mug to use every day.

There are 10 spots available for this workshop, sign up before they fill up! If less than 7 people sign up, we will need to reschedule for another time.
